INSIDE GOLFYR

Design follows Technology

3 min read

Golfyr Creative Director Alfredo Häberli is an internationally renowned designer, best known for his innovative and creative approach. His distinctive style uniquely combines functionality and aesthetics. His signature has significantly shaped our vision of 7>14.

Häberli never takes the easy path – he chooses detours, asks questions, and creates new connections. Despite strict design constraints in developing the clubs, he succeeded in creating a recognizable design from existing conventions and the material carbon. Through the creative process, Häberli managed to give each club a soul and a strong character. The goal was to fundamentally rethink golf and actively incorporate this fresh thinking into the design process, making it tangible. It was about simplicity, the number of clubs, and handling in play situations – reduction was applied everywhere to achieve the optimal result in both form and function.

“To create something outstanding, you have to ask the right questions. This time, the question was: What needs to be reduced?”

– Alfredo Häberli
